Hach Hydromet has partnered with Blue Water Satellite, Inc. (BWSI) to offer an expansive yet economical method of measuring the quality of entire water bodies. BWSI imaging technology can currently measure cyanobacteria, phosphorus, Chlorophyll-a, total vegetation, and oil on the parts per billion level. Using BWSI technology, the deployment of Hydrolab sondes can be focused to only the troubled area of a water body, allowing time and resources to be directed only where in-depth water analysis is necessary.
Topics covered: - What is BWSI?
- Satellite technology overview
- Advantages of satellite water quality monitoring
- Pairing satellite monitoring with Hydrolab sondes
