The OTT Acoustic Digital Current meter (ADC) employs the most advanced technology available for point velocity measurement, including a sensor with two 6 MHz acoustic transducers, temperature and depth sensors, and a cable and handheld unit for signal processing. Additionally, the ADC was designed with multiple features to provide the highest level of quality assurance. Examples include advanced quality assurance software checks, measurement guidance, and reduced signal-to-noise issues with the large sample volume located in front of the sensor.
